To maximize the detox and draining effect, this herbal tea is at its best in the morning on an empty stomach, or during the day between main meals. Being caffeine-free, it can also be consumed in the evening to support digestion.

Brewing Steps

Follow these steps to get the very best from your infusion:

• Quantity: 3–4g (or 1.5 scoops of our tea measuring spoon) per 200ml cup.

• Water: 100°C

• Brewing Time: 10–12 minutes

Our Tip

For a deep purifying action, leave the herbal tea to steep for a full 10 minutes with the cup covered, in order to completely extract the draining active ingredients of the roots (burdock and dandelion) and medicinal leaves, without dispersing the aromatic essential oils of lemon and ginger. Stir well before drinking to redistribute the sweet notes of licorice and beetroot, which tend to settle at the bottom.

While you will always find a "Best Before" date printed on the packaging for regulatory compliance, tea is a dry product that doesn't expire in the traditional sense.
